INTELLEXT
When I joined IntelleXt in February 2021, it consisted of 4 co-founders, 15 employees and a great idea.
The concept was amazing with many complex integrations that would even include AI, Machine Learning and it needed to be conceptualized into a working prototype.

RESEARCH​
I researched the field to find similar businesses and find inspiration such as DocuSign, ZenDesk, FreshDesk, Litera and more.
Then I contacted each team to understand the capabilities that our future system will have, such as the Machine Learning, Behavioral Research and Marketing teams.

FIGMA MOCK-UP​
Together with the Product Strategist, CIO and a lawyer, we synthesized all the concepts into a working prototype demo that is being implemented. Please read about the creation of the platform here.

RESULTS​
This demo played a vital role in the acquisition of our first customer, a leading global aerospace manufacturer, helped receive funding as well as secure two global partnerships.

MARKETING WEBSITE
Along with the evolving definition of the product, the marketing website needed to be rebranded to showcase the evolving product, values, core features and mock-ups. A smooth workflow within the team was created, with content and research coming from Product Strategist and Lead Behavioral Lead, which was passed on to me and I collaborated with the UI Team to synthesize everything together, with supporting photography, in-house custom illustrations, icons and uniform design system.​ The initial designs and endless number of iterations were done in Figma, where everyone could collaborate, comment, design and share ideas.
ANATOMY OF THE LANDING PAGE

FIRST SCREEN
The first screen consists of essential components, such as the hero shot, headline, a supporting paragraph and a call-to-action button. The photo shows a happy woman who looks like scored something on her phone in a corporate setting. The main colors are introduced and the photo supports the overall clean color palette. The headline and supporting paragraph are catchy and informative.​

Overview outlines the three core features of the application that include Live Negotiations, Analytics and the Smart Repository for storing negotiated contracts.

SUPPORTING PHOTOGRAPHY AND BREAK​
The platform is built to specifically target B2B contracts and this photo illustrates two corporate figures shaking hands in a large office space.

DEEPER DIVE INTO MAIN SECTIONS OF THE PLATFORM
Three mock-ups exemplify that the platform will be available for the desktop screens, tablets and mobile. Each slide breaks down the main features that would interest a potential customer with icons for faster comprehension and easier scroll.

SUPPORTING PHOTOGRAPHY AND BREAK
This photo reinforces who is the target audience. It shows chess pieces, which usually illustrates a complicated task, along with someone writing with a nice pen. The message is to reach out to those working with complex contracts, who would benefit from features that the IntelleXt platform would offer.
WHERE WE FIT IT ANIMATION
To keep the user engaged, this animation illustrates how the platform would contribute and fit into the existing flow of contracts negotiations and storage. It shows the standard flow that lawyers and businessmen/women are using today, and where and how IntelleXt would help elevate some of the processes, such as Semantic Term Extraction, collaboration of the team on the same platform, and negotiation off a term sheet with the help of Machine Learning as well as keeping all the discussions and members on the same platform.
CUSTOM ILLUSTRATIONS
These illustrations further explain how the platform can be helpful. It would provide the ability to negotiation on the go as well as providing helpful market research, analysis and would help with stakeholder alignment, so both parties come to a successful agreement faster.
PODCAST
This section is highlighted with parallax to show the CEO's engagement and initiative. It also provides the link to his podcast so interested clients would get a better idea about the product.
POSITIVE SHOWCASE OF PAIN POINTS
The pain points discovered after interviews can be summarized into negotiations taking too long, costing too much and the final contracts are not optimal. Not to drill on the negative, this section outlines positive outcomes expected from the use of the platform, such as reducing costs, maximizing contract value and accelerating deal closures.
SOCIAL PROOF
This section outlines a few quotes provided by potential customers, all important figures in the world of contracts and negotiations.
SUPPORTING ARTICLE
Keld Jensen is a respected figure in the world of negotiations and in this section the website links to his research and displays the most relevant figures.
SUPPORTING MOCK-UP
Partnership with WCC Foundation was concealed with the help of a Smart Clause Library, that stores clauses for easier use in contracts, as well as providing an explainer text and video.
PARTNERSHIPS
In brand colors, the five initial partnerships are displayed here to provide trust, that IntelleXt is tackling the right problems in the field of negotiations.
CONTACT FORM
Contract form is conveniently linked and located on the landing page for all interested parties to easily reach the firm. There is also a chat bot at the bottom right of the screen for questions or feedback.
FOOTER
The footer's simple design provides an easy access to all the links of an interested or prospective client and user.
"WHERE WE FIT IN" ANIMATION

The "Where We Fit In" animation was created to better communicated how our platform would fit into the already established workflow of businessmen and lawyers. It was sketched out by hand, then designed in Figma and Adobe Illustrator and further animated in Adobe After Effects. Many iterations on the structure and design were considered before settling on a clean design on a white background with the Standard Negotiation Flow completing a full circle, before the IntelleXt features slide in to exemplify which part of the process IntelleXt is targetting.
The animation also demonstrates that users may still use the platform without counting on the new functionalities, but solely to keep all involved parties, documents and discussions on the same platform for easier access and faster communication.
CUSTOM ILLUSTRATIONS
As the website went through a few changes during the process of establishing a clear UI Design System and style, so did the illustrations. A few different types of illustrations styles and color palettes were tried and sketched out before arriving at the ones displayed on the current website. This is an example of sketches made for the section "Faster, Smarter, Better Deals" after which the colors and final shapes were completed in Adobe Illustrator.

UI DESIGN SYSTEM
An extended color palette, fonts, forms, icons and spacing design system were first created and helped narrow down and achieve a more precise design system for the website.

About us page follows a similar pattern from the landing page and also uses photography for supporting the theme of B2B contracts and negotiations, as well as a supporting and informative paragraph.

It was important to outline the right values and show the care that the managers are providing in creating a great collaborative culture from the start. Further, the story of how IntelleXt was conceptualized was recorded and supported with in-house custom illustrations. ​

PHOTOSHOOT
We held two photoshoots and were able to get together even during the pandemic to connect in person. This made a huge impact on how we continued working over zoom and slack. This is one of the photo taken at the Stanford Campus.

It was also important to include all the colleagues to display how much IntelleXt scaled from only having 4 cofounders in December 2020, to 60+ employees by the end of the summer.

OFFICE
IntelleXt's office is very unique and was even filmed and posted on social media by the Portnov School. Since the pandemic left everyone sitting at home, one of the colleagues, Clarissa Danilov, made a special office space in her garage in Sunnyvale, filled with lush, extravagant succulent plants, fish, art and gourmet coffee. The most important decisions were made in this office space, as the ability to meet in person made a big difference and impact.
